Leica Seminar in Immensee

On a cold day in late November nine photographers gathered in Immensee in Canton Schwyz, for a seminar on Leica cameras and food photography. This was carried out under the auspices of Andreas Reichlin, the inventor of the ‚Fire-Ring‘ on which the whole meal was prepared and cooked. Stefan Wiesner – (Der Hexer von Entlebuch – the witch from Entlebuch), was the man in charge of the fire rings and the food – which was beyond description, it was so good. Sylvan Müller und Silvan Dietrich – two very capable photographers, instructors and advisors – represented Leica and were constant demand.

I was able to try out the Leica Q2monochrome, a truly beautiful camera with a fixed lens of 28mm f1.7, an astoundingly good ISO range and joy to use.
